<p>Assoc. Prof. Dr. Md. Alauddin is a highly experienced cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery specialist in Dhaka, with over 20 years of experience in advanced cardiac care, currently serving as Associate Professor in the Department of Cardiac Surgery at Bangladesh Medical University (Ex. PG Hospital); he completed his MBBS from Sher-e-Bangla Medical College, Barishal (under Dhaka University) and earned his MS in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, along with short-term fellowship training at Narayana Hrudayalaya (NH), Bangalore, India.<br class="break"><br>He is widely recognized for performing pediatric cardiac surgeries including ASD, VSD, TOF, PDA, TAPVC, MBTS, AV canal defect, and coarctation of the aorta, as well as adult cardiac procedures such as CABG (beating heart), AVR, MVR, valve repair, LA myxoma surgery, rupture of sinus of Valsalva repair, coronary aneurysm management, thymectomy, adult congenital heart disease surgery, and pulmonary embolism surgery; additionally, he provides vascular surgical care for varicose veins, AVM, AV fistula, and IV tumors.
