Dr. Ismat Jahan Lima is the first female colorectal surgeon in Bangladesh and a highly accomplished specialist in colorectal (piles, fissure, fistula) and pelvic floor surgery in Dhaka. She holds an MBBS, BCS (Health), FCPS (Surgery) with a Gold Medal, MS in Colorectal Surgery, FACS (USA), and MRCS (UK). Dr. Lima is currently serving as an Associate Professor of Colorectal Surgery at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College & Hospital.
