Prof. Dr. B.A.K Azad

<p>Prof.Dr B.A.K Azad is one of the most renowned Dentist in Bangladesh. He passed Bachelor of Dental surgery (BDS) from Dhaka Dental College in 1984. Then he took Diploma in Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Dhaka in 1988. After that Dr. Azad completed his MCPS from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons. Then in 1998, he took his MDS (Master in Dental Surgery) in prosthetic dentistry from the University of London. He is also a fellow of International college of Ptosthodontists (FICP), America. In Bangladesh Dr. Azad started his professional career by joining Bangladesh Civil Service Health Cadre in 1985. After serving in the different levels he became a professor &amp; head of Orhtodontics of Dhaka Dental College and hospital. Dr. Azad also served as a postgraduate trainee in Eastman Dental Hospital, London, UK. He also served as a Principal of Dhaka Dental College, the only government owned Dental College in Bangladesh and also served as a Director, (Dental) at Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of health and family welfare. Now he is serving as a Focal Point (Consultant) in World Health Organization (WHO).</p>
