Prof. Dr. Gopen Kumar Kundu

Professor Dr. Gopen Kumar Kundu passed MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College, Dhaka in January 1997, and passed Diploma in child Health (DCH) in July, 2001 from BSMMU. He has been completed fellowship in Paediatrics (FCPS) on January 2010. Then he obtained Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Paediatric Neurology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). He joined as Assistant Professor in Paediatric Neurology in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University July 2010. He worked as Associate Professor in Paediatric Neurology since 2014 to 2019. Now he worked as Professor and Chairman of Department of Paediatric Neurology, BSMMU. Beside this he has been serving as Director of Autism and NDDs Cell in MOH&FW (HSD) since 2014. By this time he underwent for Clinical fellowship for Paediatric Neurology at NIMHANS, Bangalore & PGI, Chandigarh, India and South Korea. He participated many international child neurology conferences like Japan, Taiwan, Bhutan, South Korea etc. Professor Kundu published a book titled “OSPE Paediatrics” in 2017 that is the only OSPE book of Paediatrics in Bangladesh. He has more than 40 articles in national and international journals & has been actively involved in research, teaching & other academic activities of BSMMU.
