Chattogram Maa-O-Shishu Hospital

"The parent organization started its journey in the year 1979 as Chattogram Shishu Hospital. A group of social workers of Chittagong started the hospital in an unfinished dilapidated government building in Agrabad with permission of the Ministry of Health and family welfare. The small out patient’s services with one part time honorary medical officer on deputation from Chittagong medical college & three honorary paediatric consultant. The whole of the two storied building were later given to the organization step by step. Shishu Hospital was completed 1988 and maternity services were added to the hospital in 1994 with a capacity of 150 beds. At this time the Hospital was named as “Chattogram Maa-O- Shishu Hospital”"
