ফার্মাকোলজি
Carbimazole is converted in the body to methimazole, which blocks the formation of thyroid hormones by preventing the incorporation of iodine into tyrosine in the thyroid gland.
Carbimazole শরীরে methimazole-এ রূপান্তরিত হয়, যা থাইরয়েড গ্রন্থিতে টাইরোসিনের সাথে আয়োডিনের সংযুক্তি বন্ধ করে থাইরয়েড হরমোন তৈরি প্রতিরোধ করে।
মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Adult: 15-40 mg daily in divided doses until the patient is euthyroid (usually 4-8 weeks), then a maintenance dose of 5-15 mg daily.
Treatment is usually continued for 12-18 months. Child: as directed by the physician.
প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: থাইরয়েড স্বাভাবিক না হওয়া পর্যন্ত (সাধারণত ৪-৮ সপ্তাহ) দৈনিক 15-40 mg বিভক্ত মাত্রায়, এরপর দৈনিক 5-15 mg।
চিকিৎসা সাধারণত ১২-১৮ মাস চালানো হয়। শিশু: চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ অনুযায়ী।
পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া
Nausea, headache, rash, itching, joint pain, mild gastrointestinal upset, taste disturbance and hair loss. Severe fall in white blood cells (agranulocytosis), liver disorders and pancreatitis are rare.
বমি বমি ভাব, মাথাব্যথা, র্যাশ, চুলকানি, অস্থিসন্ধিতে ব্যথা, পরিপাকতন্ত্রের মৃদু অস্বস্তি, স্বাদের পরিবর্তন ও চুল পড়া। শ্বেত রক্তকণিকা মারাত্মকভাবে কমে যাওয়া (অ্যাগ্রানুলোসাইটোসিস), যকৃতের সমস্যা ও প্যানক্রিয়াটাইটিস বিরল।
সতর্কতা
Stop the drug and report at once any sore throat, fever, mouth ulcers or other sign of infection; a blood count is needed. Women of childbearing age should use effective contraception; in pregnancy use only on specialist advice at the lowest effective dose.
গলা ব্যথা, জ্বর, মুখে ঘা বা সংক্রমণের অন্য কোনো লক্ষণ দেখা দিলে ওষুধ বন্ধ করে অবিলম্বে জানান; রক্ত পরীক্ষা প্রয়োজন। সন্তান ধারণে সক্ষম নারীদের কার্যকর জন্মনিয়ন্ত্রণ পদ্ধতি ব্যবহার করা উচিত; গর্ভাবস্থায় কেবল বিশেষজ্ঞের পরামর্শে সর্বনিম্ন কার্যকর মাত্রায় ব্যবহার্য।
যাদের জন্য নিষেধ
Severe blood disorders, severe hepatic impairment, history of pancreatitis with carbimazole and hypersensitivity to carbimazole or methimazole.
রক্তের গুরুতর রোগ, যকৃতের তীব্র সমস্যা, Carbimazole ব্যবহারে প্যানক্রিয়াটাইটিসের ইতিহাস এবং Carbimazole বা methimazole-এর প্রতি অতিসংবেদনশীলতা।
সংরক্ষণ
Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place, away from light. Keep out of the reach of children.
৩০°সে. তাপমাত্রার নিচে, আলো থেকে দূরে, ঠান্ডা ও শুষ্ক স্থানে রাখুন। শিশুদের নাগালের বাইরে রাখুন।
