Injection

Generic: Omeprazole

Eskayef Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Gastric and duodenal ulcer, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and reflux oesophagitis, acid-related dyspepsia, treatment and prevention of NSAID-associated ulcer, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and eradication of Helicobacter pylori in combination with antibiotics.

Pharmacology

Omeprazole suppresses gastric acid secretion by irreversibly inhibiting the hydrogen-potassium ATPase enzyme (the proton pump) of the gastric parietal cell. It reduces both basal and stimulated acid secretion.
