Pharmacology
Indapamide is a thiazide-like diuretic. It inhibits sodium reabsorption in the distal tubule and also has a direct vasodilating effect, lowering blood pressure at doses that cause only mild diuresis.
Indapamide একটি থায়াজাইড-সদৃশ ডাইইউরেটিক। এটি ডিস্টাল টিউবিউলে সোডিয়ামের পুনঃশোষণ কমায় এবং সরাসরি রক্তনালী প্রসারিত করে; ফলে সামান্য মূত্রবর্ধনের মাত্রাতেই রক্তচাপ কমে।
Dosage & Administration
Adult: one 1.5 mg sustained release tablet once daily, preferably in the morning, swallowed whole.
প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: 1.5 mg সাসটেইনড রিলিজ ট্যাবলেট একটি করে দিনে একবার, সকালে সেবন করা ভালো; না ভেঙে গিলে খেতে হবে।
Side Effects
Low blood potassium and sodium, dizziness, headache, fatigue, muscle cramps, rash, raised uric acid and raised blood sugar.
রক্তে পটাশিয়াম ও সোডিয়াম কমে যাওয়া, মাথা ঘোরা, মাথাব্যথা, ক্লান্তি, পেশিতে টান, র্যাশ, ইউরিক অ্যাসিড বৃদ্ধি ও রক্তে শর্করা বৃদ্ধি।
Precautions & Warnings
Monitor potassium, sodium and uric acid, especially in the elderly. Use with caution in diabetes, gout and renal or hepatic impairment. Avoid in pregnancy and breast-feeding.
পটাশিয়াম, সোডিয়াম ও ইউরিক অ্যাসিড পরীক্ষা করতে হবে, বিশেষত বয়স্ক রোগীতে। ডায়াবেটিস, গাউট এবং কিডনি বা যকৃতের সমস্যায় সতর্কতা প্রয়োজন। গর্ভাবস্থা ও স্তন্যদানকালে পরিহার করুন।
Contraindications
Severe renal failure, hepatic encephalopathy or severe hepatic impairment, low blood potassium and hypersensitivity to indapamide or other sulfonamides.
কিডনির তীব্র বিকলতা, হেপাটিক এনসেফালোপ্যাথি বা যকৃতের তীব্র সমস্যা, রক্তে পটাশিয়ামের ঘাটতি এবং Indapamide বা অন্য সালফোনামাইডের প্রতি অতিসংবেদনশীলতা।
Storage Conditions
Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place, away from light. Keep out of the reach of children.
৩০°সে. তাপমাত্রার নিচে, আলো থেকে দূরে, ঠান্ডা ও শুষ্ক স্থানে রাখুন। শিশুদের নাগালের বাইরে রাখুন।
