ফার্মাকোলজি
The combination of an oestrogen (ethinylestradiol) and a progestogen (such as levonorgestrel, norgestrel, desogestrel or lynestrenol) prevents ovulation, thickens the cervical mucus and makes the lining of the uterus unsuitable for implantation.
ইস্ট্রোজেন (ইথিনাইলইস্ট্রাডিওল) ও প্রোজেস্টোজেনের (যেমন লেভোনরজেস্ট্রেল, নরজেস্ট্রেল, ডেসোজেস্ট্রেল বা লাইনেস্ট্রেনল) সমন্বয় ডিম্বস্ফোটন রোধ করে, জরায়ুমুখের শ্লেষ্মা ঘন করে এবং জরায়ুর আবরণকে ভ্রূণ স্থাপনের অনুপযোগী করে।
মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Take 1 tablet daily at the same time each day, starting on day 1 of the menstrual cycle and following the order shown on the pack.
28-tablet packs: take continuously and start the next pack without a break.
21-tablet packs: take for 21 days, then leave a 7-day tablet-free interval before the next pack.
Missed pill: take it as soon as remembered and follow the instructions in the pack leaflet.
মাসিক চক্রের ১ম দিন থেকে শুরু করে প্রতিদিন একই সময়ে ১টি করে ট্যাবলেট, প্যাকেটে নির্দেশিত ক্রম অনুযায়ী সেবন করতে হবে।
২৮ ট্যাবলেটের পাতা: বিরতি ছাড়া একটানা সেবন করে পরের পাতা শুরু করতে হবে।
২১ ট্যাবলেটের পাতা: ২১ দিন সেবনের পর ৭ দিন বিরতি দিয়ে পরের পাতা শুরু করতে হবে।
পিল খেতে ভুলে গেলে: মনে পড়ার সাথে সাথে খেতে হবে এবং প্যাকেটের নির্দেশিকা অনুসরণ করতে হবে।
পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া
Nausea, headache, breast tenderness, spotting or bleeding between periods, and changes in weight and mood.
বমি বমি ভাব, মাথাব্যথা, স্তনে ব্যথা, মাসিকের মাঝে ফোঁটা ফোঁটা রক্ত যাওয়া বা রক্তস্রাব এবং ওজন ও মেজাজের পরিবর্তন।
সতর্কতা
Blood pressure should be checked before and during use. Stop the pill and seek medical help at once for pain or swelling of a leg, chest pain, breathlessness, severe headache or disturbance of vision.
Vomiting, severe diarrhoea and drugs such as rifampicin, carbamazepine and phenytoin may reduce its effect. It does not protect against sexually transmitted infections. Not the preferred method during breast-feeding.
সেবনের আগে ও সেবনকালে রক্তচাপ পরীক্ষা করা উচিত। পায়ে ব্যথা বা ফোলা, বুকে ব্যথা, শ্বাসকষ্ট, তীব্র মাথাব্যথা বা দৃষ্টির সমস্যা দেখা দিলে পিল বন্ধ করে অবিলম্বে চিকিৎসকের শরণাপন্ন হতে হবে।
বমি, তীব্র ডায়রিয়া এবং রিফামপিসিন, কার্বামাজেপিন ও ফেনাইটয়েনের মতো ওষুধ এর কার্যকারিতা কমাতে পারে। এটি যৌনবাহিত সংক্রমণ থেকে সুরক্ষা দেয় না। স্তন্যদানকালে এটি প্রথম পছন্দের পদ্ধতি নয়।
যাদের জন্য নিষেধ
Pregnancy, current or past venous or arterial thrombosis, stroke, ischaemic heart disease, migraine with aura, severe or uncontrolled hypertension, breast cancer, severe liver disease, undiagnosed vaginal bleeding and smokers aged over 35 years.
গর্ভাবস্থা, শিরা বা ধমনিতে রক্ত জমাট বাঁধার বর্তমান বা পূর্বের ইতিহাস, স্ট্রোক, ইস্কেমিক হৃদরোগ, অরাসহ মাইগ্রেন, তীব্র বা অনিয়ন্ত্রিত উচ্চ রক্তচাপ, স্তন ক্যান্সার, যকৃতের তীব্র রোগ, কারণ নির্ণয় না হওয়া যোনিপথের রক্তক্ষরণ এবং ৩৫ বছরের বেশি বয়সী ধূমপায়ী।
সংরক্ষণ
Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place, away from light. Keep out of the reach of children.
৩০°C তাপমাত্রার নিচে, আলো থেকে দূরে, ঠান্ডা ও শুষ্ক স্থানে রাখুন। শিশুদের নাগালের বাইরে রাখুন।
