ফার্মাকোলজি
Levocetirizine is the active R-isomer of cetirizine. It is a potent and selective antagonist of peripheral H1 receptors with a rapid onset and a long duration of action, allowing once-daily dosing.
Levocetirizine হলো Cetirizine-এর সক্রিয় R-আইসোমার। এটি প্রান্তীয় H1 রিসেপ্টরের একটি শক্তিশালী ও সিলেক্টিভ অ্যান্টাগোনিস্ট; দ্রুত কাজ শুরু করে এবং দীর্ঘস্থায়ী হওয়ায় দিনে একবার সেবনই যথেষ্ট।
মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Adult and child 12 years and over: 5 mg once daily, preferably in the evening.
Child 6-11 years: 2.5 mg once daily.
Younger children: as directed by the physician.
প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক ও ১২ বছর বা তার বেশি বয়সী শিশু: 5 mg দিনে একবার, সন্ধ্যায় সেবন করা ভালো।
শিশু ৬-১১ বছর: 2.5 mg দিনে একবার।
আরও ছোট শিশু: চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ অনুযায়ী।
পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া
Drowsiness, fatigue, headache, dry mouth and weakness. Skin rash is rare.
ঝিমুনি, ক্লান্তি, মাথাব্যথা, মুখ শুকিয়ে যাওয়া ও দুর্বলতা। ত্বকে র্যাশ বিরল।
সতর্কতা
May cause drowsiness; take care when driving or operating machinery and avoid alcohol. Reduce the dose in renal impairment. Use with caution in pregnancy and breast-feeding.
ঝিমুনি হতে পারে; গাড়ি চালানো বা যন্ত্রপাতি পরিচালনায় সতর্ক থাকুন এবং অ্যালকোহল পরিহার করুন। কিডনির সমস্যায় মাত্রা কমাতে হবে। গর্ভাবস্থা ও স্তন্যদানকালে সতর্কতা প্রয়োজন।
যাদের জন্য নিষেধ
Hypersensitivity to levocetirizine, cetirizine or hydroxyzine, and severe renal impairment.
Levocetirizine, Cetirizine বা hydroxyzine-এর প্রতি অতিসংবেদনশীলতা এবং কিডনির তীব্র সমস্যা।
সংরক্ষণ
Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place, away from light. Keep out of the reach of children.
৩০°সে. তাপমাত্রার নিচে, আলো থেকে দূরে, ঠান্ডা ও শুষ্ক স্থানে রাখুন। শিশুদের নাগালের বাইরে রাখুন।
