Pharmacology
Cetirizine is a selective antagonist of peripheral histamine H1 receptors. It blocks the effects of histamine released in allergic reactions, with little anticholinergic activity and less sedation than older antihistamines.
Cetirizine প্রান্তীয় হিস্টামিন H1 রিসেপ্টরের একটি সিলেক্টিভ অ্যান্টাগোনিস্ট। এটি অ্যালার্জিক প্রতিক্রিয়ায় নিঃসৃত হিস্টামিনের প্রভাব বন্ধ করে; অ্যান্টিকোলিনার্জিক প্রভাব সামান্য এবং পুরনো অ্যান্টিহিস্টামিনের তুলনায় ঝিমুনি কম।
Dosage & Administration
1 tablet daily at night.
প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক ও ১২ বছর বা তার বেশি বয়সী শিশু: 10 mg দিনে একবার।
শিশু ৬-১১ বছর: 5 mg দিনে দুইবার।
শিশু ২-৫ বছর: 2.5 mg দিনে দুইবার।
২ বছরের কম বয়সী শিশু: চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ অনুযায়ী।
Side Effects
Drowsiness, dry mouth.
ঝিমুনি, ক্লান্তি, মাথাব্যথা, মাথা ঘোরা, মুখ শুকিয়ে যাওয়া এবং পরিপাকতন্ত্রের মৃদু অস্বস্তি।
Precautions & Warnings
May cause drowsiness; take care when driving or operating machinery and avoid alcohol. Reduce the dose in renal impairment. Use with caution in epilepsy, pregnancy and breast-feeding.
ঝিমুনি হতে পারে; গাড়ি চালানো বা যন্ত্রপাতি পরিচালনায় সতর্ক থাকুন এবং অ্যালকোহল পরিহার করুন। কিডনির সমস্যায় মাত্রা কমাতে হবে। মৃগীরোগ, গর্ভাবস্থা ও স্তন্যদানকালে সতর্কতা প্রয়োজন।
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to cetirizine, hydroxyzine or any ingredient of the preparation, and severe renal impairment.
Cetirizine, hydroxyzine বা প্রস্তুতির যেকোনো উপাদানের প্রতি অতিসংবেদনশীলতা এবং কিডনির তীব্র সমস্যা।
Storage Conditions
Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place, away from light. Keep out of the reach of children.
৩০°সে. তাপমাত্রার নিচে, আলো থেকে দূরে, ঠান্ডা ও শুষ্ক স্থানে রাখুন। শিশুদের নাগালের বাইরে রাখুন।
