Mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache, period pain and muscle pain; fever; rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and other painful, inflammatory musculoskeletal conditions.

ফার্মাকোলজি
Ibuprofen is a propionic acid derivative NSAID. It inhibits the cyclo-oxygenase enzymes and so reduces prostaglandin synthesis, producing analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects.
Ibuprofen প্রোপায়োনিক অ্যাসিড শ্রেণির একটি NSAID। এটি সাইক্লো-অক্সিজিনেজ এনজাইমকে বাধা দিয়ে প্রোস্টাগ্ল্যান্ডিন তৈরি হওয়া কমায়, ফলে ব্যথা, জ্বর ও প্রদাহ কমে।
মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Adult: 200 to 400 mg 3 to 4 times daily after food; maximum 2.4 g daily.
Child over 3 months: 20 to 30 mg/kg daily in 3 to 4 divided doses after food.
Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time.
প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: ২০০ থেকে ৪০০ mg দিনে ৩ থেকে ৪ বার, খাবারের পর; দৈনিক সর্বোচ্চ ২.৪ g।
৩ মাসের বেশি বয়সী শিশু: দৈনিক ২০ থেকে ৩০ mg/kg, ৩ থেকে ৪টি বিভক্ত মাত্রায়, খাবারের পর।
সবচেয়ে কম কার্যকর মাত্রায় এবং যত কম সময় সম্ভব ব্যবহার করতে হবে।
পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া
Nausea, indigestion, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, headache and dizziness. Less commonly gastric ulcer or bleeding, skin rash, fluid retention and worsening of asthma.
বমি বমি ভাব, বদহজম, পেট ব্যথা, ডায়রিয়া, মাথাব্যথা ও মাথা ঘোরা। কম ক্ষেত্রে পাকস্থলীতে আলসার বা রক্তক্ষরণ, ত্বকে ফুসকুড়ি, শরীরে পানি জমা এবং হাঁপানি বেড়ে যাওয়া।
সতর্কতা
Take after food. Use with caution in the elderly and in asthma, hypertension, heart, kidney or liver disease and a history of peptic ulcer. Avoid in suspected dengue fever. Avoid in the last trimester of pregnancy.
খাবারের পর সেবন করুন। বয়স্ক রোগী এবং হাঁপানি, উচ্চ রক্তচাপ, হৃদরোগ, কিডনি বা লিভারের রোগ ও পেপটিক আলসারের ইতিহাস থাকলে সতর্কতার সাথে ব্যবহার করতে হবে। ডেঙ্গু জ্বর সন্দেহ হলে ব্যবহার করা যাবে না। গর্ভাবস্থার শেষ তিন মাসে পরিহার করুন।
যাদের জন্য নিষেধ
Hypersensitivity to ibuprofen, aspirin or other NSAIDs. Active peptic ulcer or gastro-intestinal bleeding. Severe heart failure, severe kidney or liver impairment. Last trimester of pregnancy.

সংরক্ষণ
Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place, away from light. Keep out of the reach of children.
৩০°সে. তাপমাত্রার নিচে, আলো থেকে দূরে, ঠান্ডা ও শুষ্ক স্থানে রাখুন। শিশুদের নাগালের বাইরে রাখুন।
