Diabetes mellitus requiring insulin, where both a rapid initial effect and a prolonged effect are needed.

ফার্মাকোলজি
This is a mixture of 30% soluble human insulin and 70% isophane (NPH) human insulin. The soluble part acts within about 30 minutes and the isophane part gives a prolonged effect, so the total duration of action is up to about 24 hours.

মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
The dose is individual and is decided by the physician; usually given once or twice daily.
Inject under the skin about 30 minutes before a meal; rotate the injection site.
Gently mix the suspension before each use. Never give intravenously.
মাত্রা রোগীভেদে আলাদা এবং চিকিৎসক নির্ধারণ করবেন; সাধারণত দিনে একবার বা দুইবার দেওয়া হয়।
খাবারের প্রায় ৩০ মিনিট আগে ত্বকের নিচে ইনজেকশন নিন; ইনজেকশনের স্থান পরিবর্তন করে নিন।
প্রতিবার ব্যবহারের আগে সাসপেনশন আলতোভাবে মিশিয়ে নিন। কখনো শিরাপথে দেওয়া যাবে না।
পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া
Hypoglycaemia (sweating, tremor, hunger, palpitations, confusion), weight gain, redness or swelling at the injection site, and lumps or hollows under the skin (lipodystrophy). Allergic reactions are rare.
হাইপোগ্লাইসেমিয়া (ঘাম, কাঁপুনি, ক্ষুধা, বুক ধড়ফড়, বিভ্রান্তি), ওজন বৃদ্ধি, ইনজেকশনের স্থানে লালচে ভাব বা ফোলা এবং ত্বকের নিচে পিণ্ড বা গর্ত হওয়া (লাইপোডিস্ট্রফি)। অ্যালার্জিক প্রতিক্রিয়া বিরল।
সতর্কতা
Monitor blood glucose regularly and do not skip the meal after the injection. The dose may need adjustment with illness, change of diet or exercise, and in renal or hepatic impairment. Use a syringe that matches the strength of the vial (40 IU/ml or 100 IU/ml).
রক্তের শর্করা নিয়মিত পরীক্ষা করুন এবং ইনজেকশনের পরের খাবার বাদ দেবেন না। অসুস্থতা, খাদ্যাভ্যাস বা ব্যায়ামের পরিবর্তন এবং কিডনি বা যকৃতের সমস্যায় মাত্রা সমন্বয়ের প্রয়োজন হতে পারে। ভায়ালের শক্তিমাত্রার (40 IU/ml বা 100 IU/ml) সাথে মিল রেখে সিরিঞ্জ ব্যবহার করুন।

Hypoglycaemia, intravenous use, and hypersensitivity to human insulin or any ingredient of the preparation.

সংরক্ষণ
Store in a refrigerator at 2-8°C. Do not freeze. Protect from light and heat. After first use follow the pack leaflet for the in-use period. Keep out of the reach of children.
রেফ্রিজারেটরে ২-৮°সে. তাপমাত্রায় রাখুন। বরফ জমতে দেবেন না। আলো ও তাপ থেকে দূরে রাখুন। প্রথম ব্যবহারের পর কতদিন ব্যবহার করা যাবে তা মোড়কের নির্দেশিকা অনুযায়ী মেনে চলুন। শিশুদের নাগালের বাইরে রাখুন।
