ফার্মাকোলজি
Prednisolone is a synthetic glucocorticoid. It reduces inflammation by inhibiting the formation of inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes, and it suppresses the immune response.
Prednisolone একটি কৃত্রিম গ্লুকোকর্টিকয়েড। এটি প্রোস্টাগ্ল্যান্ডিন ও লিউকোট্রাইনের মতো প্রদাহ সৃষ্টিকারী উপাদান তৈরি বন্ধ করে প্রদাহ কমায় এবং রোগ প্রতিরোধ ব্যবস্থার প্রতিক্রিয়া দমন করে।
মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Adult: initially 10-20 mg daily (up to 60 mg daily in severe disease), preferably as a single dose in the morning after breakfast; usual maintenance 2.5-15 mg daily.
Child: dose by body weight as directed by the physician.
Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time.
প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক: শুরুতে দৈনিক 10-20 mg (তীব্র রোগে দৈনিক 60 mg পর্যন্ত), সকালে নাশতার পর একবারে সেবন করা ভালো; পরবর্তী সাধারণ মাত্রা দৈনিক 2.5-15 mg।
শিশু: দেহের ওজন অনুযায়ী চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শমতো।
সর্বনিম্ন কার্যকর মাত্রা স্বল্পতম সময়ের জন্য ব্যবহার করুন।
পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া
Indigestion, increased appetite, weight gain, fluid retention, raised blood pressure, raised blood sugar, mood changes and insomnia. Long-term use: osteoporosis, thin skin, cataract, glaucoma, adrenal suppression, increased risk of infection and slowed growth in children.
বদহজম, ক্ষুধা বৃদ্ধি, ওজন বৃদ্ধি, শরীরে পানি জমা, রক্তচাপ বৃদ্ধি, রক্তে শর্করা বৃদ্ধি, মেজাজের পরিবর্তন ও অনিদ্রা। দীর্ঘদিন ব্যবহারে: হাড় ক্ষয় (অস্টিওপোরোসিস), ত্বক পাতলা হওয়া, ছানি, গ্লুকোমা, অ্যাড্রেনাল গ্রন্থির কার্যকারিতা কমে যাওয়া, সংক্রমণের ঝুঁকি বৃদ্ধি এবং শিশুদের বৃদ্ধি ব্যাহত হওয়া।
সতর্কতা
Do not stop suddenly after prolonged use; the dose must be reduced gradually. Use with caution in diabetes, hypertension, peptic ulcer, osteoporosis, glaucoma, psychiatric illness and past tuberculosis. Avoid contact with chickenpox or measles.
দীর্ঘদিন ব্যবহারের পর হঠাৎ বন্ধ করা যাবে না; ধীরে ধীরে মাত্রা কমাতে হবে। ডায়াবেটিস, উচ্চ রক্তচাপ, পেপটিক আলসার, অস্টিওপোরোসিস, গ্লুকোমা, মানসিক রোগ ও পূর্বে যক্ষ্মার ইতিহাস থাকলে সতর্কতা প্রয়োজন। জলবসন্ত বা হামের রোগীর সংস্পর্শ এড়িয়ে চলুন।
যাদের জন্য নিষেধ
Systemic infection unless specific treatment is given, live vaccines in patients on immunosuppressive doses, and hypersensitivity to prednisolone.
নির্দিষ্ট চিকিৎসা ছাড়া সিস্টেমিক সংক্রমণ, রোগ প্রতিরোধ ক্ষমতা দমনকারী মাত্রায় থাকা রোগীতে জীবন্ত টিকা এবং Prednisolone-এর প্রতি অতিসংবেদনশীলতা।

Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place, away from light. Keep out of the reach of children.
৩০°সে. তাপমাত্রার নিচে, আলো থেকে দূরে, ঠান্ডা ও শুষ্ক স্থানে রাখুন। শিশুদের নাগালের বাইরে রাখুন।
