ফার্মাকোলজি
Montelukast selectively blocks the cysteinyl leukotriene (CysLT1) receptor. Leukotrienes cause airway swelling, smooth muscle contraction and inflammation in asthma and allergic rhinitis; blocking them reduces these effects.
Montelukast নির্দিষ্টভাবে সিস্টেইনাইল লিউকোট্রাইন (CysLT1) রিসেপ্টর বন্ধ করে। অ্যাজমা ও অ্যালার্জিক রাইনাইটিসে লিউকোট্রাইন শ্বাসনালীর ফোলা, মসৃণ পেশির সংকোচন ও প্রদাহ ঘটায়; এই রিসেপ্টর বন্ধ করলে এসব প্রভাব কমে।
মাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
Adult and adolescent 15 years and over: 10 mg once daily in the evening.
Child 6-14 years: 5 mg chewable tablet once daily in the evening.
Child 2-5 years: 4 mg chewable tablet once daily in the evening.
প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক ও ১৫ বছর বা তার বেশি বয়সী: 10 mg দিনে একবার সন্ধ্যায়।
শিশু ৬-১৪ বছর: 5 mg চুষে বা চিবিয়ে খাওয়ার ট্যাবলেট দিনে একবার সন্ধ্যায়।
শিশু ২-৫ বছর: 4 mg চুষে বা চিবিয়ে খাওয়ার ট্যাবলেট দিনে একবার সন্ধ্যায়।
পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া
Headache, abdominal pain, thirst, diarrhoea, fever and upper respiratory tract infection. Sleep disturbance, abnormal dreams, agitation and mood changes are uncommon.
মাথাব্যথা, পেটব্যথা, তৃষ্ণা, ডায়রিয়া, জ্বর ও ঊর্ধ্ব শ্বাসনালীর সংক্রমণ। ঘুমের ব্যাঘাত, অস্বাভাবিক স্বপ্ন, অস্থিরতা ও মেজাজের পরিবর্তন অপেক্ষাকৃত কম দেখা যায়।
সতর্কতা
Not for relief of an acute asthma attack; keep a reliever inhaler available. Do not replace inhaled or oral corticosteroids abruptly. Report any change in mood or behaviour.
অ্যাজমার তীব্র আক্রমণ উপশমের জন্য নয়; দ্রুত উপশমকারী ইনহেলার সাথে রাখুন। ইনহেলার বা মুখে খাওয়ার কর্টিকোস্টেরয়েড হঠাৎ বন্ধ করে এটি ব্যবহার করা যাবে না। মেজাজ বা আচরণে পরিবর্তন দেখা দিলে চিকিৎসককে জানান।

Hypersensitivity to montelukast or any ingredient of the preparation.
Montelukast বা প্রস্তুতির যেকোনো উপাদানের প্রতি অতিসংবেদনশীলতা।
সংরক্ষণ
Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place, away from light. Keep out of the reach of children.
৩০°সে. তাপমাত্রার নিচে, আলো থেকে দূরে, ঠান্ডা ও শুষ্ক স্থানে রাখুন। শিশুদের নাগালের বাইরে রাখুন।
